1ptGreen tomatoes; sliced
5tbSugar
1tbVinegar
1tsFlour
1pnAllspice
1pnGround cloves
1pnCinnamon
2 Pastry for pie

Take 1 pint of green tomatoes pared and sliced; line a pie pan with pie paste and put in the tomatoes. Then sprinkle over them 5 tablespoonfuls of sugar, add 1 tablespoonful of vinegar, 1 teaspoonful of flour; season with allspice, cloves and cinnamon. Put on top crust and bake in a moderately hot oven. (Acton, Okla.)
